The purpose of the Mississippi Fellowship of United Methodist Evangelicals (MSFUME) is to stand firm in defense of the faith, once and for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3), and go forth as ambassadors of Christ in the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:20). MSFUME exists to defend and to proclaim the Christian faith and to promote renewal in the Mississippi Conference of the United Methodist Church and the denomination as a whole.
MSFUME was organized in late 2002 and currently has a membership, including laity and clergy, in excess of 950 people across the State of Mississippi. It is our belief that the renewal of the Church will begin at the grass roots --- in the heart of laity and clergy. We continue to pray for the United Methodist Church that she might recapture her evangelical roots and that she might produce evangelical fruits. We invite you to join with us in the endeavor.
